Victor Osioh, the founder of Aghwotu was raised by a successful and industrious father, an probably one of the biggest real estate owner in Sapele, the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, his father has instilled in him the essential qualities of discipline, hard work, integrity and strong Christian values that have led to his success as a visionary, developer, industrialist, and nation-builder.
As a special dedication, Aghwotu was named in honor of his father, Chief I. O. Osioh the Aghwotu 1 of Okpe Kingdom due to passion for helping humanity, resilience and affection.
